Today's Consult
My Dr gave me a schedule of when to start my meds, etc, as well as prescriptions for everything. I start the Clomid on Thursday, Jan 26 and take it until Monday, Jan 30. I have sex the 4th, 6th, and 8th of February (yes, my Doctor wrote me a prescription for sex...Sailor wants to know if he can get out of work for that, lol). Then I start the Crinone (Progesterone) gel on Feb 14th, every other night...and go in for a Pregnancy test on the 20th! Wow, it's all feeling so real now.
JC, I'm taking 50mg of the Clomid. When do you go in for your pregnancy test? Fingers crossed for us both, this is so exciting!

Well I haven;t heard of the Crinone gel whats that for? I don't go in for an appointment for a pregnancy test. I am just gonna take a home one. When I got pregnant with Little Guy I stoped taking the clomid on the 10th of March and took a test on Apirl 1st and it was positive so I'm just gonna take one around the same time and if it's neg I'll call the doc to find out where I go from here :) I am only on 100 mg and when I got pregnant with Little Guy I was on 150 mg so we'll see. Fingers still crossed over here. It is exciting and scary all at the same time...lol
Every man's dream huh? A prescription for sex....wonder if that really could be excusable!?

The Crinone gel is just a Progesterone supplement. I never have a hard time getting pregnant, but I have low Progesterone, so the Crinone should take care of that problem...and the Aygestin and Clomid have a little Progesterone in them, so that should help jump start it, too.
Wow! How weird it must be to have to have sex as a prescription - I personally enjoy it more when it's spontaneous, but I guess you have to do what you have to do! :D Enjoy the next few weeks! I am sure that you can't wait until the 20th of Feb!!
got ya. I did ask my mom about it and she said she does know of a gel women use if they have had miscarriages (sp)
