Working CAN be fun!
I got a job, I think I posted that somewhere. Anyway, I'll be working for the same company as PurpleMama, just a different location. I'll be checking patients in and getting their info and all that for an urgent care facility. I'll also be selling Close to my Heart products. I'm so excited about both of these new jobs! With the medical one, I'll get something current for my resume, it'll get me out of the house, I'll be making money, and I'll be doing something active with my brain! With Close to my Heart, I'll have the opportunity to learn alot more about scrapbooking, and I'll get a discount on all of the wonderful products that I LOVE! I can't wait to get started! I went over to Scrapping Momma's house to learn more about being a consultant. She went over everything with me, I learned alot, and then we went to Starbucks, where she bought us both a celebratory Mocha Frappuccino. Yum! The service was sloooooooooow, and it was cold inside, but we got a chance to wind down and talk some more.

I dunno yet, I get my kit in on Friday, though, I'm so excited! And I just called to find out when I start the other job and they told me that Corporate is reviewing my application. Ummm, I've filled out all the paperwork and I've gotten the drug screen and the physical...what is there to review? They were supposed to call to tell me when I can start once the drug screen results came in. I'm confused, and a little upset, I don't know what's going on. I know they're going through a manager change right now, so maybe that's what the holdup is, I dunno. I'm excited about the job, but I put in my application on June 21 and had my first interview on July 6, why is it taking so long?!
